nice work. Is there a reason why the object is not center in the frame. I just find that you waste portion of your frame with emptyness. if you render 1280x720 better use all the frame no?

Hello Scote
you are right, it would be better, if the object is center in the frame
I would be careful for the next poste
now I`am working on Spec Map

Thank you

Cool man, the model looks pretty solid in your renders with that texture and lighting.

Can you go more into detail about what your trying to show in the renders?

Are you wanting to show off the technical quality of the model? Is it meant to be a historically accurate recreation, like you might see in a museum?

I understand the camo is meant to break up the shape of the tank, but it might be hurting you in this case. Combine that with the flat lighting, and the small details are difficult to make out.

I think this would look better if you toned down the contrast on the camo, and maybe relit the model to a museum type of setup. Use harsher, more focused beams of light, and add a little more specularity to your surface. Try to get some nice large subtle highlights on the turret and hull, so the overall shape better stands out.

Tanks AJ1 for the comments

You gave me an idea, can be a photo session at the museum

I agree with you, the camo is a bit dark and do not see the detail

Now I`am trying to fix the camo and lighting (EX: in a museum)
After that i poste an update

thank you again for your comments

Nice man. I’m glad that your willing to play around with the lights.

Also try playing around with racks of focused spot lights. Have them maybe 5-7 meters above your model. Use focused beams that are no bigger than your tank. Aim them at key features like the turret and hull.

The tank would be brightly lit, but the rest of the enviroment would be dark. That should help your overall composition, as the brightest parts of your image will be your tank, and thus were the viewers focus will be.

You can also use dimmer spot lights at lower angles to further cast highlights on key areas.

An update, walk to the museum…

Relight a bit, edit textures
I made a small staging at museum

I think the velvet rope should hang a bit more. It doesn’t have to hang as low as the picture, but atleast make it hang a little. Also, there’s various pieces that make up a velvet rope. I’m not knowledgeable with the parts, but I think it’s more than just a cylinder and a sphere on top.

Other than that, your render is looking nice!

Hello DarkMizu

you are right it lacks a bit of finishing, I think that`s better now !!
