painting the friction attribute?

hi guys. Is there a way to paint the friction attribute on the collision object?

I don’t believe so; if you select your object and go to Modify->Paint Attribute Tool you can see which properties are paintable for the Syflex simulation, and it’s just the envelope.

You could perform two separate simulations and then use a BlendCache to selectively use the parts of the cloth with your desired friction simulated.
