Painting tears?

I’m a little confused about drawing and painting tears? Can anyone show me the technique?

Here’s a nice quick way to do it:

  • Create a new layer with a very light color, almost white. Paint where you want the tears.
    -Lower the opacity of the layer to around 50% and merge it down.
  • Create another layer. This time, with a very thin brush, select a very light color again, and make the highlights pop a bit.
