Not much to say about this piece except it’s my view of where the world is heading.
Program used: Maya
Renderer: Mental Ray using Image Based Lighting as the light source and environment.
The skyscraper is a basic cube extruded a few times then made in to an instance. The instance was duplicated in to a pattern using the the “duplicate special” option.
To get the 90 degree edges to bevel, I used the round corner node plugged in to a mia shader.
