I have used Vue sence version 3 and find it a usefull tool.
I would love to see Eye On add a groud cover generation system and a scatering system that is intuative. these two areas hurt Vue in my opinion for a lot of things and as a result force me to use other software.
Vue also need to work on there socalled Volumetric lighting, it is mostly just filtering and lens flair afterefects. In Vue 5 there latest release the implamentation of raidosaty works well but is far from perfic. This is another area that sends me to other software where lighting efects are critical.
Eye On intagration of poser 5 in there mover 5 release is a wonderful tool. Poser 5 has a fast and symple to use cloth sym system and there hair is also useable and farly fast. I wont go into the problems with poser but for many situations it is a very fast and easy to use tool for adding chariter content to a sceen that is beleavable. now tha both are owned by the same parent company mabe we will see some good things come from these two programs that have a very good start in functionaluty and useabiluty for general 3D sceen creation.
I love your Image as it shows well the capabiluties of Vue, dispelling many pre concived notions about the product that follow it from its earlyer versions.
Before you flame me for spelling and puncutation. I am dyslexic and seldom post as a result.
Keep up the good work and let us see more of it

A unique and very well done piece of art Scott…I really enjy viewing it,and think your efforts on it really have paid off.Nice art, real nice!:buttrock: :arteest:
It reminds me the Lord of The Rings!
but the tree man looks like it’s build up, not alive…
i think it’s a high end piece. too bad i don’t use vue. the light is a bit too bright, but that’s neglijable. guess it was a lot of work… how long did it take, anyway; is it animated?
send a reply if u can
Your tree man image is a great concept. I’ve rarely seen tree men portrayed before (wizard of oz, a couple of cartoons and maybe a horror flick or two) but the way you portray the concept is totally unique.
The detail is wonderful. This creation would be EXCELLENT for animation.
dude thats a bush with a adatude… lol it is really cool I like it the enviroment make it look like it belongs in the scene which is aesome… it looks phoporealistic.
I really like the tree character. The back gorund and house is very impressive also. Keep it up!
I think it’s a fabulous image! Marvelous imagination and wonderful execution, too! I really like the way you’ve created a sort of wireframe to put the trees one. Well done, Scott and congrats on your award!
