Organic modeling for future illustration
oh year, explaine me that please⦠Iām curious :bounce: :bounce:
How to make repeated taper ???
How to make regular tape ???
Iām not realy good with blender, so I test ;).

ok, i downloaded Blender, but i couldnt even figure out how to do anything, I found Import Wings 3D, but then, trying to find the file is hard, cause it tells me to put in the exact location of the file, and the file is saved on my Desktop in a Folder. So i dont know how to use Blender at all⦠

Donāt worry, be happyā¦
OK to load your file when clicking on import .wings one of the window will switch to a file browser. Use the P buttonto go to the root of your disk(or the āā¦ā, which you can double click or middle click to activate) the go in document and setting -> your name -> desktop -> your folder and open you wings file by double click or middle click.
in any case, you donāt need to enter the path by hand.
you canno do repeat taper so sadly itās not possible to use taper to do so.
but anyway this steps for regular taper:
do the follow:
1-Add a bezier curve in add >> curve menu.
2-switch to edit window with F9
3-click the 3D button on the Curve and surface panel. This will enable you to curve it in all direction.
4-quit editmode (TABKEY)
5-add a bezier circle in curve enu again.
6-quit editmode again.
7-Reselect your curve.
8-In curve and surface, in the BevOb textfield, type in āCurveCircleā. <- case sensitive.
9-See you curve being wrapped with the circle, so you get a pipe.
10-add an other bezier curve like the first one.
11-in links and material panel change the name in the OB textfield for something easy, like ātapeā.
12-reselect you pipe and enter the name ātapeā in the TaperOb textfield so you use the previous curve.
13-reselect your ātapeā curve and enter edit mode (TABKEY)
14-move handle arround and see the pipe moving.
Krall --> yep⦠blender have a lots of functionnality.
So donāt worry, and make tutorials
Gabio --> Yop okay I know that.
But itās really boring to make taper with good repetitions.
And itās not as clean as subdivide and extrude ;). The space between the cross section is not as regula.
But itās cool for another thinksā¦
Thanks man for your reply
ok, i imported my wings to blender, but I dont even know what tod o with Blender, i feel really stupid and frustraded⦠i hate being such an amature
How about a quick run down on how you made the brain ??? what wings3D tools were most used ???
No I made the brain with sculpt mesh tool (script written by letterip here on elysiun thread)
After I used tweek tool of wings to tune points positions
:bounce:
hmmmm Iām french, so I donāt understand āquick run downā :o :o can you explain please. :surprised
Actually ⦠I meant āquick low downā. But the meaning is the same I think.
Brief description. So you did this with a Blender plugin ???
That render looks very cool⦠I like the subtle color shift from side to sideā¦
great job on the models so far - very organic lookingā¦
are the teeth separate objects or part of the head?
āJeff
Cool render. I supose that is a render style and not that you actually made a hole in every surface?
No no, as Iāve explained, I used the atomic tool of cinema 4d to render this.
It create tubes for each edges of the wire. And a sphere for all points.
hey Hi all
It was a long time I have not post anything on this fabulous forum.
So my last image : ![]()

Hi CyaNn.
