open source & lw core

#1

i’ve got a question that’s been bugging me. now that pmg has an open source and lw core will be sporting sdk. would i be able to incorporate messiah inside lw as a actual plug-in? i mean actually put messiah inside the lightwave prgram rather than having them linked. or is it just wishful thinking. i know messiah is procedural and it seems lw is headed in that direction. am i getting ahead of myself or is it stupid of me to ask. i’m not really up to speed on the whole open source thing. i not really sure what limitations there are with an open source program.

i mean i love both programs and in my opinion they both completely compliment each other. i’m surprised they haven’t melded into one yet (again wishful thinking). any ideas anyone?

No ideas, but don’t you mean you love Messiah and LightWave 1-9.6? LightWave Core is a different program, that I think none of us would know enough about yet to either love or assess complimentarity (?) with Messiah.

I’m pretty sure it will be lovable; I have no idea if a Messiah connection will be either possible or necessary. Although I think plugging Messiah into anything stands a good chance of making it cooler.

well wait for Luxology for his animation package, hope will incorporate messiah bones,
but as this guys works they getting the best of the industry and doing it better.

so i am not surprise that lux will come with some excellent animation solutions, kinda XSI, and solid dynamics =).
