Reb - You are the director and whatever you choose I will attempt. I am kinda favoriting, if that is a word, this artist and his style and figures. I am fixinā€™ to wrap this dente up here is what little I did this weekend. I have another conference in OKC at the end of this week. That will give me time to do one of the OFDW 14ā€™s.

Hi again.

Way past deadline but here it is!
The shading took me 3 hours (in a hurryā€¦!). I had to switch to an HB (Caran dā€™Ache Tecnograph) to do the lighter lines.
Still have to work on thisā€¦

I usualy erase a lot too but I was having a good day this time. It happens every few months!:smiley:
I havenā€™t used color pencils inā€¦ likeā€¦ 13 years or so! I used to grind the tips and mix the colors with my fingers or bits of paper. It can be pretty cool!
Iā€™ll be on the lookout for your experiments.

RebeccaK - Youā€™re right about the legs (thanks for tip! :slight_smile: ). I think the main problem was (is) the victimā€™s torso - it was too short so the legs on both guys came out with all the wrong sizes (and I didnā€™t have enough paper for the atackerā€™s left leg!). Anyway, I was in kind of a hurry, so I ended up not changing much of the anatomy. Next timeā€¦
Although I do have a tablet I have yet to get the hang of it for drawing. Not that Iā€™m too worried about it - I think I still prefer pencil for this. I use the tablet for ā€œpaintingā€ :rolleyes: . The last digital 2d I did was my Master and Servant entry.

Looks great Sonia. It really went fast for you. You going to work in OFDW 14? I hope to finish my Dente tonight. I am heading to an out of state seminar tomorrow for a weekend. I want to start one of the 14s while I am stuck in my hotel room. See yā€™all tomorrow morning.

Still plodding along. Started adding more of the background figures and also just sharpening things up generally. This is this master study that refused to die. Who knows how much longer Iā€™ll be on this. I am denying myself the pleasure of moving onto OFDW14 until this is finished.

Ok, so I finally got some time this morning to start adding color to my underpainting. I was promoted at work two weeks ago to production manager so my free time has been scarce. Especially since they havenā€™t hired anyone to be the new graphics manager so I am somehow supposed to still be doing that as well. Gotta love corporate America sometimes.
