Open AE CS4 Project in AE 7?

Is there a way to open an AE CS4 Project in AE 7?

sorry man,

u can go from 7 to cs4 but once u go cs4 u never go back, as the old saying goes.

You should be able to download a trial version of CS4 (works for just 30 days) to open your project. After that though - you will need to upgrade to either a full license or student (whichever suits your needs).

If AE7 is able to read xml you could try that route.

can a CS4 project be taken to CS3?
