"OneMonth" - Reel 2006 - Philip Hartmann

[left]Because I’m looking for a job to pay my bills, during my time at the german university HFF Konrad Wolf near berlin, I created a demoreel in exactly “one month”.[/left]
[left]This Reel isn’t specialised because I worked on several jobs as an all-round helper and so I want to show all my skills and techniques in modeling (hard and organic),(rigging and animation), texturing, shading, lighting, rendering and compositing.[/left]

wow, thats a really really nice reel… Big Quicktime as well!

I love the overall feel/look, its goes so well with the music and the linking of the 3 sections. And i love the way its a package… its almost like a brand.

Whats the song from? nice and relaxing. :slight_smile:

Not much to crit on the content as well. Maybe the phone might have gained from a few close up/dynamic angles (like all the phone ads are doing at the moment).

hey philip, really a masterpiece of work you presents us here.
i would have changed the last animation a bit since it doesn’t really represent your (obvious) skills. nevermind, it’s one of the best demo reels i’ve ever seen - the mood, audio and visualeffects are awesome. keep heading forward!

Honestly it is a very good reel, the only thing that I would object is that your last piece is NOT your strongest piece.
