How do u like my menu?
Im building my new site, and i wonder if i should reuse the menu, so please take a minute to look at it!

Hey I gotta say it’s nice to see something original, so well done. However, I’m not convinced it’s totally effective. It’s a cool gimmick, but it doesn’t help indicate or provide user feedback for individual buttons.

Are you trying to show off your Maya programming skills with this particle effect? I can only make a guess there. I reckon the concept is great if you want to get this message across, its just it seems a little rough and as I said doesn’t relate to individual buttons in terms of feedback. Download size needs some consideration aswell. Overall I think you should create a new menu in the interests of progression, but retain the particle concept because of its originality and and what it shows about your skills. It would also be nice to see some shader work rather than just a flat black smoke cloud. I hope that helps.

You are probably right about the indication and feedback to the user. But I made this site for fun and not with buisness in mind. Thats why the download size is pretty huge, but overall I guess u are right. Its not very userfriendly!
