Got that client. Also picked up the Backdoor.IRC.ZCrew virus that came along with it which gave some anonymous user out there access to my PC. If you downloaded from this link, check your systems people. Look in your system directory under C:/WINNT/Web/Printers for a folder named WWW. If you have that folder, then you have the virus.

It says that it can’t find my host name and that I have bad user info. I changed my ident to mIRC system - Windows port - 113 and still no luck. Any suggestions?

MindShell… Fill in your info correctly… name, e-mail, nick and second nick.

mindshell: freenode seems to be quite anal about the name… be sure to put in TWO words there… not only one. at least that solved my “bad user info” problem.
