ericyeo,

WOW, just a tremendous finish to this piece! :applause: Can’t take any credit, you did all the fantastic work here, and it’s great to see this in the Gallery!

Really incredible work here, and your color sense has come a long way! The figures are really nicely luminous, and it’s just amazing the amount of detail that is in this piece, as well as the accuracy.

Thanks for your great participation in the OFDW series, and I hope to see your participation in many more!

Cheers,

HI…Ericyeo…

Really like the way you used orange and greens…creates a stronger and more dramatic
mood and emotion, than is in the original…for me anyway…also like the way you made
the guy doing the ripping out of throat…more fierce looking and more powerful than the
original. You took the the painting further, in some important ways in regards to the subject
in my opinion.
GREAT DRAFTSMANSHIP … PAINTING TECHNIQUE … and COLOR… :applause:

TAKE CARE

Hi Eric,

As I said in the workshop, I just love the way you used green in this piece, it looks really nice, great subtle contrast to the rest of the piece. Dante’s face and the guy on the floor behind them look great too. It was a pleasure watching this piece develop ^^!

Eric,

I love your work. You successfully captured the essence of the original, but I can see that you have also made it your own unique work with small differences in coloring and texturing. The time you put into the work was well worth it. Congratulations on a successful effort!

Regards,

I gave it 5 stars because of it’s amazing composition (like Renaissance painting).

My only critisizm is the lack of detail in the background, which could complement the forground greatly.

Other than that, greatwork. :arteest:
