Odin, Glen Angus (2D)

#1

Title: Odin
Name: Glen Angus
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This was penciled by hand, and just recently painted using only Photoshop.

I am currently working to develope a new feel for my work, and moreso just enjoying painting subject matter of my choice. Thank you for the warm welcome with the Balrog piece. It’s the second of a series of works “for me” (this painting of Odin being the first)

Hope you like!

Respectfully,
Gangus

You have a kick @ss style! My only comment on this image is that his right arm is a little hard to read, but who cares, still looks awesome!!

#11

Hi! The background is very beautiful! But there is a mistake of the perspective there. It spoils an impression.

#12

Amazing, that is just awsome!

WOOW…i loved the very feel of it and the face and hairs are sweet…but left arm cud’ve been more dynamic and agree on right arm…its not that readable…
donno but his face reminds of obelix from >> asterix and obelix…

kick@$$ work mate…:buttrock:

if you spent 10 minutes to flip the background and move the warrior more to the right in odrder to compensate u would dramatically improve the Composition…in terms of “rule of thirds”…the idea is to have the silohuette of the castle and mountian to point towards his chest instead of his back and make it read from left to right more clearly

other then that, excellent render
