If anybody is interested, I made a simple rig of a big cartoon tongue using the cloth engine. This comes as a simple solution to my first attempt of using Soft Body IK. The challenge was trying to keep the “tongue” from intersecting the lips. So, the clothilde collider achieves this perfect. Just place a bone as a child of the collider object and you can then move the rig around without upsetting the point calculations made by the cloth tag on the tongue.
