Rigger
Northwest Imaging & FX is looking for a rigger to work on a fully animated 3D series. Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, we are developing an animation pipeline to grow and expand on.
Job Description:
*Design user interfaces and controls to perform setup and weighting of 3D characters, over the next 14 months
Job Requirements:
*Comfortable level of ability with such 3D tools/techniques as Maya, setup of animation controls which allows for fluid animation
General Requirements:
*Good organization, ability to juggle multiple tasks
*Strong communication and timeline skills
*Take direction well
*Ability to work independently, depending on the shift
Pluses:
*Knowledge of modelling, lighting, animating
*Canadian citizen/landed immigrant
MUST have a good sense of humor, work well within a team of other skilled artists
Demo reel submission:
Resume MUST be accompanied by a demo reel. Digital submission of reel is preferred (CD, DVD, or web link).
