nvidia Cg toolkit: installation hangs

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me:
I’m trying to install the Cg toolkit from nvidia but the installation hangs when creating the registry entry (at the end of the installation bar).
Tried it with version 1.5 and 2.0 beta, same problems.

System is a WinXP SP2 notebook, logged in as an admin of course.
Also tried disabling Kerio firewall and Avast anti-virus protection during install.
