Hi, and hey, a Nuke forum!

Cinema 4D users might try SteadyCHAN
to Export and Import chan files
used by i.e. Nuke and Terragen2 Animation.

SteadyCHANEXPORT is typically a one button function.
SteadyCHANIMPORT may need a few extra steps for Camera
animation import.

Please read the included SteadyCHAN_READ_ME.txt
for detailed information.

SteadyCHAN is tested in R10.5 to R11.5.
It may work in R10 but will not install in earlier versions.

Download at: tcastudios -> xfiles

SteadyCHAN is updated with Terragen 2.1 Animation
custom .chan format for direct camera transfers with TG2.1
and simple ASCII format (Cinema space and rotation order)
for generic use.

The additions make no difference to Nuke,
but interface is cleaner (no “Save Report” pop up).

For more info please read the included READ_ME.

tcastudios -> xfiles.

Cheers

This is a fantastic Nuke training program-

Nuke: Introduction to Production Nuke

This class introduces the Nuke compositing environment to the digital artist experienced in basic compositing techniques. Primary focus will be on the tools and work flows which set Nuke apart from other compositing systems, the theory behind those differences, and why they help complete shots quickly and accurately.

I posted this in the common thread below but feel that this is a better place for it. I have just finished the first draft of a Wiki I am putting together for my compositing students. Here it is:

http://opticalenquiry.com/nuke/

It has been designed for newbies. Any feedback welcome.

Nuke Station has a bunch of great tutorials for Nuke.

Hi all

I’m able to offer a free training course, in London on the 16/17 Dec, where artists will receive hands on Nuke training in stereo - artists will get to work on their own shot (which are part of a short film that I have directed) - and these can be used for their own showreels.
Experience of compositing is helpful but not essential. Perfect for the After-Effects whizz with little or no experience of node-based compositing or someone with some Nuke experience but not with working in stereo.

To qualify for this free training experience artists must have one of the following:

1. your own ltd company based in London OR
 1. be employed by a small ltd company based in London OR

 2. be a jobbing freelancer living in London with a UTR (the unique tax reference used by the self employed)

This is because the training is being supported by a London college. If you'd like to take part or want more info, please email: simonv124@gmail.com.

Hi,
I’d like to know if there is any Nuke training in New York.
I’ll be there for a few months, taking a few VFX classes, and would like an intensive course on Nuke.
Does anyone know of Nuke courses in NY?

Thanks

Hi everyone
I’ve got a trouble green screen matchmove on camera’s zoom-in when
all the marker points (+ sign on green screen) being disappear throuh the shot.
How can I continue the matchmoving process with those marker points who went out
of the shot. Since that the rest is only a whole of green color screen without any points.

I’m asking for a favor if some one else answer me, please.
Thanks so much
