nParticles emission rate issue with texture rate


Hi everyone. I’m experiencing a weird behaviour in a nParticles simulation. I want to make the particles flow on my mesh from a specific part of it, so I connected a ramp to the texture rate. The problem comes when I set the emission rate(particles/second) to a value under 50: the particles aren’t emitted from the specified part anymore. When the value is 50+ it’s all good. Any idea why this happens?
