This piece was done for fun. Its a dark angel who is just feeding on flesh (although he has stitched mouth… after all its just a fiction piece ) Mostly I was playing with brushes here and trying to achieve a traditional looking like image. And to get a new look for a dark angel… a naked one with military boots on its feet.

That sky and the telephone polls are just beautiful, I really like the whole feeling of that part of the painting. The perspective seems to change some between the sky and the angel himself, seems to go from the camera tilted up at a slight angle to look at the sky and the polls to looking straight on at the angel which, for me, makes the piece seem a little less…coherent I guess would be a good word. But still, very good work, I like it, I like the flavour of the piece. Good job for sure, keep it up, best of luck with your art!

i love the way you have done the sky, the colours are excellent. overall i think the piece is great, maybe the arms need a little more shadow? they seem a bit too light, but maybe its just cos i’m on a crappy computer monitor. awesome painting.
