Not getting validated

#1

Hello, I am aware of the 2 post validation policy and think it’s a pretty good idea.
I have tried posting 3 times now, the first one awhile back, and have not been validated on any of them.
How long does it take to validate? A couple weeks?

I can see all your posts. Validation is usually done within a few hours. Please have more patience.

Thank you for the reply. I’m sorry for being impatient.
I did try posting a couple times a few weeks ago and still have not seen the posts show up. I had just figured I was waiting for them to be validated. The posts from a while back were what I was curious about, not the few I had posted yesterday. Your response in that regard was very fast, thank you. It was probably user error somehow on my part, sorry for the confusion.

Can you recall offhand what the posts were? The only reason I can think of for posts not being validated is if they’re in violation of the posting policy somehow. What threads were you posting in?

I really can’t remember exactly. One post was in reply to a knucklehead who wasn’t taking any advice from anyone and thought he was doing a great job at it. I replied something to effect of “This proves you don’t need free software to make crappy models”… so yeah, that probably wasn’t approved, in retrospect…
I can’t remember what the other one was at all. But I’m pretty sure it was fairly benign.
Thank you for asking, it’s not really a big deal to me.
Oh, my current posts are now showing up. Maybe that’s obvious because this one is. I don’t know if the support forum operates differently in that regard.
Thank you for your time!

I don’t see why those other posts wouldn’t have been validated, but I guess we’ll never know for sure. You’re past the validation phase now anyway, so no need to give it anymore thought. Glad to be of help.
