Normal map - Low poly geometry sticks out

Hey!

I’m trying to build a sword asset. So I created a low poly version unwrapped it and then created a high poly version on top of this with turbosmooth and supporting edges.

When I bake the normal map in Substance Painter the normal map doesn’t look as it should.

Can anyone give me a hint how to fix this? Any help is appreciated!

more poly and clean it by hand…

So the low poly model should have more polys to be closer to the high poly version?
