I’ve seen on many discussions that people say Combustion has Schematic views whereas some other higher end systems like FFI are node-based. What is the difference exactly?
Thanks.

The great majority of compositing softwares is a node based ( for example, Fusion, Nuke, FFI (batch, MK). The Combustion is a layer based like as After Effects, however it has a schematic view with many of the functionalities found in others softwares.
I believe that this view is more efficient in showing the relations between the nodes us of that the AE (timeline) for example. The After Effects has a Flowchart view (seemed with the schematic view of Combustion, but this view it is not functional
