sorri peoplez. i got a freakin’ eye infection and i fell back on my work as well as on this challenge. it burns looking at a screen right now. unfortunatly, i’m not even done cleaning the plate. but they gave me some i drops and i should be able to work with my eyes shut as well. i have only limited time i can spend infront of a screen, so i couldn’t look what everyone else has been up to. sure as hell am behind a lot. matt and levi are probably done by now. i’ll catch up once the white of my eye is somewhat white again and i met my other deadlines. sorri…

I broke my right hand about a year ago, and that was a very frustrating (and painful) experience. I recall saying the only thing worse would have been a damaged eye(s) (considering the silly obsession we are in). Get well soon :wink:

Sorry to hear about your eyes! But glad to hear you’re feeling better. Eye trouble is a pain seeing as one tends to be using them constantly. Rest 'em good!

thank you mark, sónia and linda. i was better, caught up on my concept work and even found some time to work on this. unfortunatly, my eyes had a fall back and i spent a night at the hospital emergancy room. since, i have been taking antibiotics and my vision was blurry all week. but life doesn’t pause or wait for you.

however, i am not even done cleaning the plate yet. today i feel a bit better,
so i’ll try to get some’ done. thank you for your support.

but i am most likely to combine the look with some yucatan.

Isn’t that house in the roots great? I have that on my pc, can’t remember what I was searching for at the time but came across that pic and thought it was so cool I had to save it :slight_smile:

linda - yes, agkor wat is amazing. and full with land mines around it, as i heard.

I like the whole comp. Very nice approach. Different to what I would have pictured. Feels pleasing to see sky. I very much like the style for the foliage right now, and i’m sure it will only get better, keep going!!! :slight_smile:

great idea to open the sky like this.I’d change the perspective of the church the way you did for your sketch to give it a more massive feel. looking good so far, keep it up.

Is that green on the building some kind of moss? (sorry, I can’t magnify the pic :blush:) The color is a bit too bright. Also, the plants behind the stairway arches should be in the shadow since they seem to be close to the building.
Other than that it’s going well. :slight_smile:
