Newbie question

I can’t find an option, to rotate/pan freely around. I looked under camera settings,
but it doesn’t seems to matter on witch preset it is.

What cam mode are you currently using / trying, how many mouse buttons have you chosen / got, what OS - and have you followed the info line (bottom of window) comments / info ?

Camera mode: 3dsmax
Buttons: 3 buttons, i asume that the scrollweel is ok for the third button, like in Max.
OS: windows XP

I should also have asked what version (of wgs) you’re using.

However, with 9836 all works ok here (albeit using ME) so … describe exactly what key / mouse btn combos you use … and what results (if any) you get?

just a thought - you’re not asking if there’s a way of choosing a new rotate centre to rotate / tumble around? … if so, select something, press A (View |Aim) and the centre of the selection becomes the new tumble origin.

(assume your middle btn / scroll wheel IS working ok as everything in this mode is based on mmb … although scroll wheel also does the same as Cntrl+Alt+mmb for me)

I’m using 9832.
I meen to rotate the view, in perspective view, like in auto rotate but then manually.

I don’t think the scroll-weel is suitable for a MMB.

Oke, i found the problem. I had to edit the settings of my mouse so it had nothing to do with wings. Sorry, but thanks for your fast reply’s!
