new workstation for around 2500 ~ 3000

Hi,

I’m looking to get a new pc for work for around 2500 - 3000 USD.
Needs to be fast for rendering in mental ray and video editing.

I’m thinking of going with the i7 4930K six core cpu at 3.4ghz

And I’m thinking of either the gtx 780 3gb, or the gtx 770 4Gb.

I am not sure which card will be better. More speed or more Vram?

Any input would be appreciated!
