New user 1st practice

I just started learning rhino, i read all the manual and i did all the practices.
Just now im starting with the modelling of and Audi TT ( yes i know, another Audi!!, but is easy for an start, good shape)

I have some doubts i hope u can solve here!:

I did all pieces separately from the beginning

And… the problems i dont know how to solve:

Right now all surfaces are independant one from each others, i guess i need to connect those.

¿ Is this a good way to start?, ¿Will i find problems conecting those surfaces?, ¿suggestions?

¿ How can i connect those surfaces?

Well About How to Connect those Surfaces . I explaing u and hope u understand :

Ok now u should Blend two Seurfaces but u can not blend those 2 Surfaces . U should first select the Left Surface in Screen . And then Split it Along the Bottom Edge of It’s Next Surface .
When it Splited the way I told u . U should Select Upper Part of Splitted Surface and Blend it with it’s next Surface .

If u don’t Understand Tell me To explain it with Picture.

btw, About the way u started I think U’d Better not to make The car in much pieces . It’s good to make it in least Pieaces . Cuz it’s a Rule in Nurbs that Ecery thing should be in Least(Control Points,Number of Surfaces,and etc) …

and Sorry if my english sux :wink:

If you wish to join those surfaces increase your unit tolerances ,if the surfaces are 5 units separated and your tolerances are set to 1,2,3, or 4 units you will get no joining…set tolerances to 1 unit over the distance by measureing that they are separated.
Generally a larger unit tolerance over and above does not cause problems.

i get some problems to join:

1st attempt: Match surfaces. I cant because the surfaces are trimed

2nd attempt: blend doesnt do nothing

i tried to join those surfaces, but, do that modifies the shape of one or the another piece to match the curve.
