same here i have no idea what its about but i like the animations.

"ghiel gagagaga gheil "
ugh yeaaaa GHEIL!
what is ghiel?
i know a crazy soldier named GUILE that used to throw sonic booms… :scream:

“Geiz ist geil” -Geiz: stinginess - geil: def
Stinginess is def. or
Stinginess rocks.
It shall tell that the prices at SATURN Electronics Warehouse are really low.
And all that the lyrics contain are phrases that end on ‘geil’. Like 'anniversary is geil (Saturn just celebrates 10th anniversary in austria), party is geil, saturn is geil.
Not our idea, but i think it’s pretty funny.

I liked it, but there is one thing that really bothered me. The mocap. B4 anyone starts yelling followed by slamming your head in and out of your screen in full on rage, let me explain:

Mocap has it’s place. And it is loved in that aspect. Star Wars, FF Spirits, whatever.

But on a character such as this guy, i find it’s a total waste. I won’t go breaking down each shot, but one thing’s for sure, you could have pulled off much better poses, and much more striking animation if you weren’t limited by mocap. In the end, the budget should come out cheaper if you use a speedy, experienced animator.

Hi Emilio!

Sorry, there was no motion Capture used in this one.

I agree with you that some of the poses could have been more exaggerated, but (as usual in a commissioned production) the agency wanted him not to move too “cartoonish”. They wanted this ‘fat, human, bit unfunky’ movements. 4 animators worked on this.

Thanks for your comments, and greetings from the whole Department,
Elm.
