Hi
I remember Kishore beeing a nice and very helpfull person, back in the EIM times. Great to having back.

EIM is back! Yay!!!
But what I find most interesting is that EITG ventures into other packages’ turfs (Maya plug-ins): if there are technologies in its portfolio that can be productized onto other 3D platforms, that could be very good for its business (I am thinking about Konkeptoine’s shaders and plug-ins) and I don’t think it would harm EIAS at all.
(Kryptonite… mmm…)
Yup… its finally official. EIM should possess the new ASICs kernel which supports multithreading and a number of other new features. Now we just gotta push for that UV and texture editor inside of EIM.
Brian, by any chance do you know if this new EIM will have the intimate conection with the EiAS that we need for CA? (just daydreaming)
Great news anyway.

Brad and I talked about that a bit… and he realizes that some sort of “bridge” technology is required so that the two applications can speak to each other… so yes, I’d say its something that is going to be strongly investigated. I want to see it happen.
Me too, fingers crossed, again.
But, there are interesting times to the EiAS community.
Thanks a lot.

Man this is exciting. Might not make the discount deadline but my tax return has EI written all over it. Considering March “EIM will be written on all new framework” that is some nice turn around. Then May “Kryptonite” ha! Will this be the application that re-defines EI and make the competition shake in their boots?
Sorry for the “me too” but this is wonderful news. EI’s future looks very bright now.
I can’t wait for March 2008
“Kryptonite” for May 2008…the guessing game will start long before then
Can I request a EIM gallery section on the EIAS website?
I have a few models that can go up
