New Portfolio Site

#1

Here’s a link to my new portfolio site: http://www3.sympatico.ca/joe.kormendi
Any critiques and comments are welcome.

Also, I would like to add that I’m moving to the Toronto area and would love to get in touch with some local area graphic/animation communities. If any one knows of any, please contact me.

Thanks,
Kman

It’s nice and tidy, works really well and is easy to navigate. Congrats.

The only, minor personal, issues that I had with it are the mini thumbnail icons when your within a subpage are particulary small which means you can’t see what an image may contain untill you click on them.
Also the little animation that plays on the icons when a new page is loaded means you can’t click on any of the icons until the animation is finished. I was trying to quickly navigate through and found myself waiting on the animation quite a lot, rather than being able to click straight away…
Apart from that it looks great, and the quality of the work is also very good…

Thanks Stu. I’ve updated the menus so that you can click on them earlier. It is kind of a pain to have to wait for the menu to load. You’re probably right about the small menu. I think in due time I will update that. Right now I’m just happy I got something up on the web!

nice design. I LOVE clean! Nice animation on the nav; however, I’m not really ‘into’ the teal. Maybe a more blue/navy color? I just doesn’t seem to go with the other vivid colors in the site.

Another thing: I have the same problem, pretty much every site… Older eyes need larger stuff. This means text and images. Everything on your page runs pretty small, even to my “fight against the large text gustapo” standards.

Other that that, I enjoyed it. It’s very clean and easy to navigate. Good job

Thanks for the comments Will. I do have a tendency to make my fonts small, but they just look so much better that way! Don’t they?
