What did you do here? I guess that’s a good thing that I can’t tell, lol, but then again, I have an untrained eye.

hey Matt, welcome to this forum, yeah it would be cool to see what did you do here. is ti all 3D? I think you need more detail on the empire state’s top or is it not done yet? anyhow it look really cool !

Thanks for the responses…

Added some distant buildings, a sky replacement, and cleaned up the bldgs a bit…

JamesVFX, I shaved the top off of the Empire State Bldg because of framing… but maybe that was a mistake!

Looks nice and technically seems to be working quite well. A few minor thoughts… not too keen on the blurred effect, always feel this gives an unnatural washed out look. You should think about changing the rest of the plate, perhaps removing the signs, cars etc and taking it back to the 30s, would work really well i think.

You may be right; I did this real quick, so was lazy in not removing the cars… I agree the blur may be overdone… It probably doesn’t need any at all. I may post another version sans blur soon -

Very nicely done. I also agree with everlite about the blur. More often this type of blur make one feel like its a deam or a reflection. Anyways everlite is also right about the 30s. That would totally look great. anyways thumbs up dude.
