New in adobe after effects

Hi,
My name is tomas and im 15 years old. Im from Argentina. I started using adobe after effects a week ago , and I uploded some videos:

hi Tomas,

i liked the second lightsaber clips.

the effects where you hold energy balls/fire etc in your hands - i think you need to look making the effect affect the lighting in the rest of the scene. (“interactive lighting”)

also the fire effect in particular looks very poor. I’m guessing that the grey parts are meant to be blown-out highlights/hotspots. look at adding a glow and colour correcting, or at the very least uploading to vimeo where the compression won’t kill your gamma…

Pretty cool! Keep working at it and you’ll be really great in no time…

I would look at compositing techniques to get the best quality in your comps though - it looks like some of the videos need better blending modes or something. Just keep practicing though - so far your work (although based on tutorials) looks promising.

Maybe try and implement your learning on your own ideas and visualizations?
