In case you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last week, here at CGSociety we’ve just released and launched our new CGPortfolio . It has heaps of great new features, like drag and drop upload, 3D viewing options, social media integration and more. And we’re not done yet - there are more features to come!
To celebrate, we’re running a series of short, small two week image upload competitions. The first one, Matte Painting, starts today.
What do you need to do? Just upload any Matte Painting to your CGPortfolio , and place it in the Matte Painting category. Anything that’s been uploaded to the new CGPortfolio will be included. Then, on Monday December 2nd, our DMP forum leader, David Luong, will choose his favourite, and the winner will receive a free CGWorkshop , plus a free copy of D’Artiste Matte Painting 3 .
That’s it. Nothing to it, really! No real criteria, you just need to upload a nice, finished DMP. Make sure your profile details are up-to-date so we can contact you if you win.
And if you’re not a matte painter (or if your talents cross genres) - that’s ok! Our next CGPortfolio upload competition will start in two weeks, and will be Creatures - 2D and 3D. You can start uploading for that now, too - put your project into the “Creatures” category.
