guys i want to make model rig it animate it and then import in a video . my plan is to create high resolution model in zbrush then import in maya rig it animate and then import in a video yes i know that it’ll not happen fast i want to know which problems i must expect? and what i must foresee? i just realised that model needs retopologizing to import in maya so if i start to work at the model and at the halfway i realise i was made mistake and i can’t continue work it’ll be very sad so please tell me

how to add in a model muscles? i must do it first of all or i can add them later?

Im a modeler, so im not going to be of much help in the rigging or animation part… but as far as modeling or sculpting you should look for proper topology, you can google it and find tons of examples that you can use for reference.
having proper topology and making a low poly character will help you to make a model that will be easier to rig.
As far as the rig goes, you should have in mind what will the model do (run, walk, jump, grab things, stretch, squash, everything the model will do), and then you can plan the rig of th model, because is almost impossible to create a rig that fits every scenario, so you need to know what will the model will do, and create a rig that does that.
Most of all i would say that you should be very aware of th things you want of your model, rig and animation, so you dont get frustrated later on, becaus of mistakes that could be avoided early in the proccess.
I wouldnt know what else to suggest, except for taking courses and training so you can have a better grasp of the workflow.
I imagine that this doesnt help much, but your question is very broad, taking some training will help you understand, and dont be afraid to screw up a model, rig, or animation and start over (even if you have been working on it for a few days), many times starting over will help you to achive a better result in much less time.

I dont really know the work flow for adding cg to a video but as far as i know, almost every 3d program can do that, depending if you wanna get a job in the cg industry or not, i would recomend using maya and after effects as they are the standar, but i think just ussing maya would be good, if not any 3d software is fine (i model or do retopo in modo, and export to maya to rig and animate, but im very noob in those)
Im sure a few lessons in digital tutors can help you to understand better what you are trying to achieve.
