Im new to 3d and wings and there are a few questions that i need help with.
I see images like this one PIC and wonder how they went from flat to smooth and curved lines to the nice smooth finish?
Also is there a plug in that makes the menu have more options, instead of the 4 buttons up top. I find right clicking is little confusing and not so natural…maybe its just me.
Also i hear things about pixie and other plug in. What would you say are the must have plug ins for wings.

That is the process of smoothing the model. Press the TAB key next time you are modelling, you will see a smoothed (subdivided) version of your object.
The idea is that you model a low resolution control cage then smooth it to get your final model.
I dont use any plugins for wings , the ones i want dont work with the most recent versions. However the basic wings package is very strong. My suggestion is to learn and create hotkeys as much as possible. There is an option for turning on advanced menus somewhere cant remember where exactly in the prefs i think.
Read the free manual… it is the only program manual I have seen, that is actually worth reading.
