need runwave help

We’re getting some strangeness with runwave and a moving camera. The runwave displacements (there’s 2- one static, the other animating its position) work fine until the camera moves and then the displacements jerk suddenly and chatter. Is this a bug or are we doing something wrong?

I’ve placed some files to look at on our .mac account if anyone’s interested in seeing what we’re experiencing. Go to

Hi,
From the project file, I noticed that the sea mesh is generated by a live Ubershape plugin.
Whenever I’ve used the Runwave plug-in, I’ve always avoided using a live Ubershape plug-in because of odd artifacts that sometimes crops up.

I realize why you’ve used a live Ubershape (noted the mesh for camera was much higher).
Try using an exported Ubershape mesh and see if the problem goes away.
