need help with symmetry

#1

Greetings,

I’m evaluating Rhino as a higher level modeler for sci-fi craft design.

I modeled one half of a fuselage with centre profile curves and section curves and surfaced it using curve network.

How do I get rid of the seam when I mirrored it (the section curves are tangent, so no problem with my curves)?

Symmetry objects seems very tedious with rhino as you need to mirror objects one by one.
Am I missing something?

Is there an automated symmetry command? e.g., Max has a symmetry modifier and Alias Studio has symmetry layers.

Thank you.

you can mirror all your objects at once by selecting them first, then doing the symetry…

if they are really tangent you should have no seams… rhino hates even the smaller default of so called aligned points…
