Need help!
I’m a newbie to 3d design, have been 2d’ing for a while, but decided that I finaly have the maturity to go 3D - and it’s waaauuu! Endless possibilities! ( sorry for my typos, I’m from mozambique, we speak Portuguese)
OK, so I do some (part time, while i’m still studying) design work for some small clients, and use Max (with Vray) basicaly for stills.
So now I’m involved in a Malaria awerness campaign.
My ideia is something like Aversis’s video;

But instead of coins, I’m going with mosquitos (insect) and instead of Rodin’s Thinker, i’m going with a small child, arround 8-9years old
So I’ve allready got a model of a mosquito, but;

[li]To draw the person, do I have to manualy place instances and copys of every mosquito? isnt there a simpler way? like having a model of a person and the replacing the poligon with the mosquito models?[/li]
[li]Should I use Vray proxy? so as not to make the scene heavy?[/li][li]How do I animate the wings on the mosquito? and make their motion realistic? I would need to animate a few ( been watching the mosquito flight pattern)[/li][/ul]I know it’s very hard to walk me trough the process but if someone could tell me what i need to know and guide me to some tutorials on the subject I would apreciate it.
If I get this spot right, i might get a job there and that would be great as I am a couple of months from finishing university.
