need help with a scripted operator

Hi there,
I have a scripted operator that i am trying to write but having a bit of trouble with. I’m not great at this stuff but I thought i might be pretty straight forward.

I have a custom parameter that goes from one to ten and a set of nulls named null 1 to 10. I also have another object that I want to align them to.

I’d like to make a scripted operator that checks the custom parameter value and aligns the nulls to another object if their number is equal to the custom parameter value. So if I set the custom parameter slider to five, null5 will be aligned but the rest will stay at 0,0,0

Hope that doesn’t sound too complicated.
If anyone could help out it would be great!
