Need help to model a 3 dof joint


Hey guys!

I am learning modelling for about a year now and I want to model a robot like chappie in modo.
I have seen a lot of references, but i dont understand how to model a proper 3 DOF (degrees of freedom) joint
for a robot like chappie.

So if anybody could please explain how they model such joints in shoulder and hip in a robot
it would be of great help to me.
