Hello everyone! I am interested in becoming a video game concept artist so I have a few questions about finding the right college in Los Angeles and I hope someone can help me shed some light on this matter.
First of all, I live in the Netherlands at the moment and I plan on studying in Los Angeles in just a few years as a concept artist for video games.
I’m specifically interested in character concept art, but environment concept art could also be interesting, although I have not so much experience with it myself so a combination of both could also be an option.
I tried searching for some colleges myself, but couldn’t find a lot of info (or I was just looking in the wrong places). I did stumble upon Otis and had a friend that lives in the US call them for me, but they just turned out to be too expensive for me so now I am trying to search further but I think I hit a dead end and don’t know where to look anymore right now as I don’t know a lot about this kind of stuff.
The important thing for me is to go to a good college where I can learn a lot and get the right experiences that I would need to succeed.
