Ok ppl …

Back again to the collaborative projects

The last month I had been working with modeling cars it was my first test in this field and I like it a lot … and I am completely mad about it …

Ok … The idea of this project will be simple …

1- Modeling cars (In high Polygon or nurbs) and tuning them ,rims and other stuff …

2- Modeling the interior of the cars …

3- speed race these cars in a good environments …

4- May be if this project work … we can use some tricks like making the cars as transformers style to race and fight each others …

I know that my idea is not arranged will … but just need time ,help and opinions from u … now we need just discuss the idea .

We will arrange cars with ppl as someone work with the body other one work with the interior and other one work with tuning & rims and tires …

This thread is for cars lovers … and I hope to find them in this forum .

I am working with several cars at the same time … I’ll start with this one

BMW -Z4

If any one decide to join we must first agree to the car ,if any one already have a car model he can join us and we will arrange how to tune it …

the process will be modeling the car (and the interior if possibale) then tuning it to prepare it for the race…

let me hear ur ideas

well I like the idea but I think I don`t agree with ur arrangement of ppl I mean everyone models his car from A to Z then if he was unable to finish it then u can give it to another one to complete it , for a beginng I think u should put the names of cars and links to blueprints I also have some questions

1- what is the no of cars are u willing to make ?
2- why model the interior if it is going to be seen from outside ?
3- is this project aimed for anyone from any skill ?

About the arrangement it still under discussion … I just want to make it as team work as possible ,any one can model his car from A to Z or can join others in tuning it …

[color=red]2- The modeling of the interior as I side before it will be optional for the modeler so if we make a progress in this we can make an animation for it …[/color]
If the interior is hard for any one we can use a black or reflected glass.

Sounds pretty sweet as an idea.

The way I saw it when I first read it was : A bunch of people team up together (you could maybe even take a couple of your friends that are into 3d too) and you set up your own little garage typed thingie? So could maybe be building your own fancy garage? and then maybe on a monthly basis everybody gets a random car. So maybe have a list of 10 cars and then each team will get one assignend randomly they have to model the car, inside, outside, tune the car and make some studio renders of it? and get a month to do it.
Then in the end get people to vote on the best one?

make some fact sheet like what type of motor they dumped in it? how they modelled it, that kind of stuff? and then maybe render a couple of racing animations?

So each team could then build a racing track too or something?

Just a couple of ideas :). Looking forward to how this turns out

Thx (TheCaveman) for ur idea … I like the fancy garage idea .

I think it’ll depend on the ppl who will join the project ,I’ll welcome a team or separate work …

-To make a list of a cars to be modeled it will be confusing cause there is a lot of choices and it will be mroe flexible to leave it to the members of the project …

as for me I prefer :

My idea for this project is to improve the car lovers skills in this field and to study the car tuning …

Ok let’s start the race … Here is the first track 3 cars will race each other …

I had searched the net for blueprints to the Ford and the Firebird but I didn’t find any … I think it will be a big problem … :wip:

Here is the Secand track 3 cars will race each other …

This track will be for BMW cars ( Z4 ,series 1 coupe ,M6 coupe )

Hi Dodo3d, long time no see, good to have you back.

You might try cross posts in the modeling section, I’ve seen people doing some pretty nice cars in there.
Maybe you can lure them over to work on this collab. :slight_smile:
