my UI is gone :(

Hey guys,

Just installed Lightwave again after a year or so for a bit of a play round and I somehow managed to turn off my top bar, like File and all those… Any ideas how I can get it back?

It’s s shortcut key, you’ve hidden your toolbars, think it’s summat like Alt+F2

Never saw that happen. Try “Edit” -> “Menu Layout” and load a preset. Or of Edit is also gone you should delete the config files and start LW afterwards. The config files are found in “\documents and settings\username”

I think he means you can’t even see them, which is normalyl when you do ALT+F2 to hide all toolbars for maximum real estate.

BTW Alt+F10 to pull up the menu display options to select a preset if Alt+F2 doesn’t work and you don’t see a menu.

You can also do it the long way round by hitting ‘d’ to bring up display options, go to the interface tab and uncheck the Hide Toolbar box…
