Nice effect with the buildings. It will be great once you add the content to it.
I think that you should say PLEASE WAIT while the page is loading and add some sort of percentage thing.
Like the building zoom in and zoom out transitions and the basic idea behind it all. My only comments:
Think about the space around the buildings. Right now they are sort of hovering ins a sea of blue. Perhaps place a gradient blue to transparent to simulate a fade in. Or some clouds. These buildings could be very high up in the sky.
Another thought, a few clouds in the back ground slowly floating by might add to the scene. . . or not.
You might want to make a gradient from the blue you have used to white going from the top being blue to the bottom being white. Could give some sense of space and depth.
One other comment.
The white lines, white numbers and the blue are very close in value making it difficult to see the lines and numbers from the background. Try either a darker gray or dark blue you have used in the outlines of the buildings. Might also help your color scheme or not.
Just some suggestions. Like the idea.
Hope things go well.
seudo?
It’s a neat effect, but thus far the page is rather drab and boring. It needs something more (and I don’t just mean content;) )
For example, textures on buildings…
And leave teh buildings blank when the camera movement will begin. Like o http://gtavicecity.com …
ok its updated again a bit:
-added sounds, some content, backround images, clouds, some more fps.
I tried that idea ACIDman_BC, it did not work out, maybe i’ll try it again, thanks though

(the portfolio sections are not finished yet I know)
Nice, way better than when you just had the buildings and no text. The scrolling clouds behind are nice to. The only thing that I have to say is that you still need some sort of percentage bar for loading.
good job:thumbsup:
Ooh…
That’s a lot better … The moving (of the camera) is still not smooth. Maybe, it’s because of the computer but… Ive got Athlon 2000+, 512 ram, Win 2000 …
And, make it a little longer (and smoother as I said). That’ll be great.
Also, I like the sky moving. First when I saw then I thought I have a headache…
Seriously … Cause it made (and make) me feel that monitor is moving …
… I know, there’s nothin difficult to make sky image movin on the back, but … still they make me feel this way …
