Well, I haven’t specifically tried this yet but I have a feeling it won’t work as I plan to… I’m making a website with HTML and adding some flash elements into the mix including a Music Player with a couple of BGMs to choose from. I’m thinking that when someone navigates through the page and goes to a different part of the site, the Music is going to start over again and reset back to BGM1, Does anyone know of a workaround to this or is it only possible in Flash-only sites?

i don’t know the project, but you could always make a html frame, and make the site inside it, and put the flash file in the outside html. it’s not a very good solution but it works.
but as i said, i don’t know the project, so i don’t know if the solution is a valid one…

Yeah, that would’ve been an option because that way the SWF doesnt ever go away… but we can’t use frames as there is some very complex coding in between and thats not in my part of the job so… Thanks for the suggestion though!

How about using cookies to keep track of which BGM the user is currently playing. The only thing with this option is that it will start playing the current one over from the begining.
