Multiple constraint issue

#1

Hi,

I want to create two point constraint . is it possible . No not two parent . I want to apply 2 point or orient constraints.

I create a cylinder, a Cube and a Cone. I want to control :

Cylinder RotateX >> by Cube RotateX

Cylynder RotateY >> by Cone RotateY

But Maya isn’t allowing me to do so. Anyone please explain.

This should work? when making your oreientconstraint just check the axes you want to be affected? works fine here.

If the problem you’re having is that it is affecting rotateX and rotateZ as well, then here’s what you do. Do the orient constraint like you normally would. And then go to the channel box click on your objects, and right click and break connection for any attribute that you don’t want affected.
