MudHub Attacked?

Hey Wayne.Just wondering if your site has been infiltrated? Firefox is throwing up some pretty serious warnings.
Especially with all that crap that happened to you not so long ago in a malicious,similar incident.

The MudboxHub is now down as I type this for 48 hours until the entire server is reset and formatted. There will be interim links to all the vids very soon fomr a secure remote server whos use has been donated to tide us over. (More news on that soon as I can transfer the vids fomr clean copies on my HD)

All my sites were rooted late last night and my twitter account hacked…DashDotSlash.net, DashDotSlash.info, MudboxHub.com BeastForge.com The BeastForge.com (both the last two half owned by myself and glen southern BTW) everything with a single mention or video of mudbox was affected, we’ve been cleaning everything by hand for 16 hours non stop until we can get the database backed up and then rest so users remined unaffected by it.

Safe to say someone doesn’t want either me or the mudbox vids around the net. In which case they are in for a shock as we’ll be coming back bigger and bringing forward some new features etc… :wink: I wont be bullied… but the safety of our users comes first. But we’ll be back and it’ll be worth the wait I can promiss you that.

why did somebody want to attack Wayne’s site when he is trying to make eveyone a better mudbox user?

I’m very sorry to hear that Wayne.the motives for these sinister attacks are both cowardly and downright pathetic.Thank you for your dedication,perseverance and great undaunted willingness to get back on the horse and keep on galloping.It is a great shame that a lad like yourself who is a wonderful asset to the community is being targeted by gobshites.

Maybe a disgruntled ZBrush User who doesn’t like the fact that Mudbox now has a Sweeeeet Mac Version. :buttrock: lol

On a more serious note. I am sorry to hear about the hack Wayne and hope everything is up and running soon! :thumbsup:

OK the forum is back up…the rest will follow once we’ve locked the server down and done some security tests. The forum looks a bit basic at the moment but we’ll get that pulled back into line ASAP. All you old logins and posts have been imported…neeed rest…more later.

Hi Wayne! I also think it has a much more artist friendly interface…Less clutter!
Mudhub is a good place…I’ll be there soon.

Also…Mudbox is the future of CG.
An app that can handle the rigors of production but can be utilized by almost anyone with an artistic aptitude without very much training.

Together with a Cintiq its a religious experience!

I have to agree that so far the new interface is wearig well on the eyes, although I’m always open to views…just remember someone has to put the ideas into action lol. I’ll have to take your word on the cintiq though out of my price range…yes even the cheap one. Still my own fault for adding to the population explosion.

My personal site is still hacked ot hell and has to be sorted out yet (no site = no work)…and another 3 to do after that!
