Hi,
I built a model on mudbox. Now I want it to change automatically with informations coming from an other software (excel for example) or an interface that counts conexions to a server.
Is it possible to programm a tool to work with informations from outside of mudbox?
Did somoene already try?
I know how to programm in java or processing but I don’t know C++ so I’m a little frightened of the SDK option

I’ve been meaning to ask a similar question here too.
I currently write C++ plugins for Maya and Cinema4D. Using their API’s.
It’s not really that hard to do once someone shows you the basics, and gives you a good place to start off from. But if you don’t have that getting started tutorial. It’s very hard to get started and do even the basic things.
Is there an intro to making plugins for Mudbox tutorial anywhere?
If not. I wish someone would make one.
