Motion Tracking kinda system thing

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a camera system or so that will output panning and tilting metadata that could replace and be more accurate in motion tracking.
Does some similar thing exist, is it possible anyway and more important: would it make sense?

I don’t know anything about this company or product but they do exist (thanks Google).

It would be nice information to have to assist in the match moving process but I don’t think it would be replacement for match moving because sometimes the camera is moving around in space (not just rotation) or objects in the scene interact with the effects and need match moving too. That’s for visual effects but I suppose that pan and tilt information might be useful in other scenarios like virtual sets or sports.
