Hi,
I’ve been experimenting with motion dynamics (springs with bones to get good antennae movement)…I’m regularly getting an unrealistic motion due to an INCREASE in energy of the motion dynamic calculation. So, the character jumps up, lands and then the antennae wobbles a bit, gets more wobbly then starts to dampen…
Lyle…is there a way of stopping this increase in energy…it really makes dynamics stuff more difficult to get to look right…I know I can dampen etc BUT it still shows through.
Anyone else get this?
David
PS Another quick one to PMG…Superblender, though great has a few limitations, especially the lack of ability to change the number of morph targets after setup etc (dummy morph targets just aren’t a neat way to work). Just wondering if you are coding something to take this over. Mark Wilsons development is obviously going to slow for Messiah (due to move over to XSI)…Just don’t want to feel that I am using sw that is not being developed further…I’ve heard about SB2 but relying on that seems not to make sense.
